Euro-Toques International with the European Commission - DG Sanco

Hooray! The European Day!

In 14 EU countries, Chefs cooked with children, teachers, parents and Commission representatives. Thanks to their know-how, they helped children eating a large variety of products, even some children do not usually consume with pleasure. For example: vegetables. To have an overview of the events in EU countries, you can download the file here. You can also go to the Euro-Toques national website (click on the map). In Brussels, four European chefs went to the European School and gave a cooking lesson to children: Bernard Fournier (Europe), Luciano Tona (Italy), Gunnar Forssell (Sweden), Henri Charvet (France). There guests of Honour were: Markos Kyprianou (on the picture): European Commissioner in charge of Health, Madame Vassilacou: head of the school, 60 children from different nationalities, Parents and Teachers.
